As we all know, sex is a crucial component in romantic relationships. Apart from procreation, it plays a major function in the bonding of partners.

However, a greater percentage of persons especially men go through erectile dysfunction, which disrupts the level of pleasure and other benefits the partners could enjoy. Of the truth, this is sometimes traumatic!

A number of factors have been identified to be the causes of erectile dysfunction

in humans. Some of such include: Stress, Smoking, Chronic illness, Stroke, Diabetes, etc.

Remember, we are eager to know how thoughts could lead to impotence or erectile dysfunction in humans. Let me mention that this point is often less discussed as a cause of E.D. This is why you need to pay deep attention to this article.

Before we proceed, let me bring to your notice that sex is largely governed by urges, feelings and thoughts. These thoughts can be related to sex or issues in your daily life. Men can feel pressured to please their partners or feel insecure about their ability to perform sexually. Fear and anxiety about penis size and body

image could also play a role in performance anxiety, leading to erectile dysfunction and subsequently impotence.

Ideally, when everything is working well, it is not something that we have to think about much in order to be able to do it. But when things go wrong, sex can become a very difficult issue indeed!

When we focus our conscious attention on our sexual performance, more often

than we should, it will have a negative impact. This is very much like sleeping. The

more conscious effort we put in to making ourselves go to sleep, the more

difficult it becomes. Surprised right? Let me explain further. Automatic and semi-

autonomous behavior that is strongly based in physiology can be quite easily

disrupted by too much conscious attention.

Thinking of how to escape from erectile dysfunction as a result of negative

thoughts? Worry less, the solution is here! Just read on..

Pinile erection is a physiologically involuntary response –of which we can’t make

it happens through conscious direction. However, we can encourage an erection

by consciously focusing on arousing thoughts, but the moment we start to

monitor it, problem sets in. For instance, when you start asking yourself questions

like; how’s it going hard enough is it staying up. At this point, you have

introduced a conscious feedback loop that has disastrous consequences.

Monitoring interrupts the involuntary arousal system and the erectile

mechanisms become disrupted. Once that happens it’s pretty much all down hill.

Insightful? Its not stopping here, lets proceed..

More so, there are numerous ways to approach erectile dysfunction. Some of

such include; Psychological approaches have the potentials to help you interrupt

monitoring and overthinking erections, learning to relax, and approaching sex

without having specific expectations of what “should” or “must” happen.

Also, Hypnosis; a trancelike state that resembles sleep but is induced by a

person, is an excellent tool for rebuilding ego-strength and enhancing non-

specific self confidence if the man has substantially lost confidence in himself.

Despite the fact that it makes the you forget some worrisome thoughts, it is a

great tool for establishing rapid and non-conscious relaxation so that men can

become involved in sexual situations with much lower levels of anxiety.

Let me tell you that erectile problems are very normal and as well, common.

Don't feel as if you are the only one experiencing it. If they are not due to an

underlying physical problem, then the way that you think and feel about the

problem can determine whether the problem gets worse or better.

Finally, Sexual dysfunction is completely treatable. Talking to a professional who

can help you sort through the various issues would be of high importance.

Overthinking erectile problems and keeping your worries to yourself is, in this

case, bound to make the problem more worsened.

Dare to think positive!!
