Once you clock the age of 50 and above there are some kind of foods you need to be consuming for you to stay healthy and be looking younger always, because old age comes with maintenance. Just as an old machine needs maintenance to keep working, the human body also needs a proper maintenance when old age clocks in. In almost every where around the world, if a person clocks the age of 50 he/she is considered as an old man/woman. This is the time whereby you really have to take all measures to ensure that you remain in good shape and health.

But the situation here is that many people don't know how to maintain themselves when they start getting old especially when it comes to the aspect of what to eat and what not to eat. What we normally eat plays an exceptional role in determining how healthy we are going to be in our life.

Well i would be talking about foods you should be consuming more at your 50 and above in order for you to stay healthy and be looking younger. 

1. Oily Fishes: Make sure you always eat more of oily fishes like tuna, salmon. mackerel and herring are very good sources of minerals and omega-3 fatty acids. They are nice sources of proteins and other nutrients 

2. Eat More of Vegetables: Eating more of vegetables are good for both young and old people. But for older people, vegetables help them with minerals. Consuming more vegetables help in preventing the exacerbation of cognitive impairment, falls and waking disability and other geriatric associated conditions. Mean while consuming more vegetables will help you in a very big ways to stay healthy.

3. Always Eat More Fruits: Eating more fruits everyday is very good for our body systems, it's give minerals, vitamins and antioxidants that can keep a person body healthy. Let me explain it further for you to understand that eating of one apple a day can keep you away from visiting the hospital. Fruits are very good in our body system, so always endeavor to decorate your foods with a lots of fruits and always stay healthy and look younger. 

4 Eat a Lot of White Meat: Tis is another thing you should consume in to your body system, eating plenty of white meat. They are food widely recommended for older people. This is because it contains minerals and omega-3 fatty acids. Because of the presence of these nutrients, it is very necessary for the body system at old age. Consuming white meat helps a lot to strengthen the bones, enhance eye and heart health.
